fraternity middle tiers
by: PNMI saw someone make a similar post about sororities but was wondering if someone could explain the middle tier fraternities? I am also curious about the social rotations and what that exactly means. I don't care about 'tier' necessarily but i would want a house that has homecoming and socials with sororities. Thanks

These are fraternities that are middle tier that still have socials/homecoming but aren't top or bottom tier: Delt, Pi Lam, Pi Kapp, AEPi, Kappa Sig, TEP, Delta Chi, Phi Tau, Lambda Chi, Chi Phi, etc.
Delta Chi and Pi Kapp aren't having homecoming this year but they usually do. Sometimes it just doesn't work out

I dont know why youre on here as a PNM. this site has a degree of validity, but a lot of false information and opinions as well. The best advice I can give you is to go to as many houses that you like, and see if you fit in with the guys, and ask them about socials and stuff because they can give you a firsthand account.

I was told by a current greek student to get an idea of the houses on here so you can get an idea of where to start. Obviously the website is super subjective but everyone agrees there is some truth to the stereotypes.

As long as you take everything with a grain of salt. There are a lot of people on ere disguising themselves as others to start drama between fraternities and sororities, so be careful.

As a PNM, you should not worry about fraternities. Being a Panhellenic woman is much more than socials and homecoming. Don't get me wrong, it is a great (and prevalent) aspect of Greek life, but there are always opportunities for girls to go to whichever fraternity tailgates/pregames/parties that are open, which is most of them. Social rotations can surprise you, so please don't base your preferences off what you hear/see about fraternity pairings. Good luck with recruitment, PNM!
