transfer going through recruitment?

How difficult is it to be seriously considered by chapters if I'm coming in as a transfer student? Greek life seems like a great way to get comfortable at UF but I know that at many schools trying to go through recruitment as an upperclassman or transfer is a total no go. Thoughts?

/does it make any difference where I'm transferring from? (a pretty well ranked private university up north)

you'll be fine! people will ask about it a lot as a point of conversation but make sure it's not only thing they know about you as you go through the rounds :)
