middle tier rush

I know there have been SO MANY of these but I am an incoming junior transfer. Small community college, wasn't much chance for involvement, and i don't know any girl in any houses. I know to keep in mind, but from what I've read.seen so far the houses I see myself in are all middle tier. Do I have a shot?
