rush application picture
by: PNMHow important is the picture that we send in for rush? I've heard mixed rumors about that they blow it up on a screen and rate you or that zeta puts them all up and girls circle what is wrong with them. How important are these pictures we send in really?

It's the first thing seen so it should be nice. Best foot forward kind of thing. Different sororities view them differently, but most will have your picture/info up on a screen or something so girls can see when voting. It needs to look like you will when you rush so it jogs memories of girls who talked to yoj

I would get a professional headshot if you can, but if it will be too difficult don't worry about it and just get a nice photo of you, kind of like a yearbook style picture but can be played up a little. Really just look nice and have it be a nice quality photo.

Most sororities downplay its importance but when you vote on a girl, atleast at my chapter, the only thing you see is her picture, some of the info you submitted (year, gpa, etc) and if someone wants to speak on your behalf (whether it is good or bad). But if no one speaks, all we have is your picture so make sure you look good.
