help want to rush next fall

by: Guest

I am an incoming freshman. I will be 40 years old fall 2016. I am going to rush. What are my chances? Is there any way for me to get a bid from anyone? I am single, never been married, do not have kids, no boyfriend, etc. I just
did not go to college when I was young? What is SK? Would they consider me? I am 40 years old, very hot... look like I am 20......

Why wouldn't it be real? I just want to join a beautiful sisterhood that I sadly missed out on years ago... I want to find my future bridesmaids. Partying with frat boys is not my concern but I would love to meet a solid man through the Greek system

Is there a age limit on rushing at UF? I think it is great that she wants to rush. She might want to check to see if she can because of her age? I think SK would be interested for sure. I love her confidence.

Idk if UF sets an age limit, but usually each chapter has a rule. Like a set age or being married already can disqualify depending on the chapter.

This is fake and just making fun of the juniors and seniors who want to rush. You're not funny

Op is so rude. The fact is we're all so close in age anyway that making a comparison like this is just not funny. It shouldn't matter if someone's a junior or senior. If they still want to be in a sorority and pay dues I just don't see what the big deal is about age. Everyone's like "oh sororities want to invest in girls that will be here a long time" but nobody's saying they can't also give bids to freshmen. It just wouldn't kill sororities to have an open mind. There was a girl in my service sorority who rushed as a senior and she's a really active alumni still. Panhellenics are missing out on people like her by not considering upperclassmen.

Why would not think it is real? I am in a house where we gladly take upperclassman as members. I think it is a good Idea to have an open mind about age of members and what they can contribute. Period. I think this is real, but a social sorority( the Pan ) is different from AKA where they take alumni older women. They are a service sorority. It is all good to me.

AKA is a black sorority, not a service one. I'm sure they do service like any other Greek organization, but that wasn't the organization I was talking about.
