upperclassmen rush
by: abcdI keep seeing really intimidating messages about older girls rushing & that xyz house would never give them a bid. If you're older (not a freshman) & really want to rush, DO IT. The people on here can't speak for every house & half of it is just BS. If you want to be in a sorority badly enough, go through recruitment with an open mind & just see what happens!

I am an incoming freshman. I will be 40 years old fall 2016. I am going to rush. What are my chances? Is there any way for me to get a bid from anyone? I am single, never been married, do not have kids, no boyfriend, etc. I just
did not go to college when I was young? What is SK? Would they consider me? I am 40 years old, very hot... look like I am 20......

This is so accurate. I rushed as a sophomore and didn't get dropped from a single house, not saying that to brag or anything like that I was just good at talking to people and I didn't let my age affect rush. It's 100% possible to get your favorite house as an upperclassman so be confident!

This gives me hope:) I'm pretty good at talking to people in forced social situations like rush I'll be a junior so I'm hoping for the best!
