by: SecretsCan someone give me the breakdown of some of the meanings of specific houses. Like how they rate you? What the process of rating you is like. Does taking you into certain rooms or floors of the house mean anything?

Don't worry about this. These types of things are secret for each sorority. Just be nice and conversational with the girls that you meet. Don't be self conscious but DO ask the girls questions about the sorority,events that they have etc.
Look your absolute best, ask questions and carry on great conversations ( with the exception of booze and partying)

Typically for houses that "call out PNMs" or put you in a non-alphabetical order for rounds 2-4(prefs) the earlier or later you're called, the more they want you. If you're preffed in an individual room rather than a big room, they typically want you more because they want you to have a quieter environment. Sometimes if you talk to multiple girls in a round like 2-3, you're wanted more. If you talk to a recruitment chair, you're being singled out for something, good or bad.

not necessarily true, the house I'm in put me last for prefs call outs because they knew I felt strongly about the sorority and didn't feel they need to convince me as much as the first girl they called.

if they didn't like you they would've just dropped you
PNMs don't get discouraged if this happens to you, each round is an opportunity to impress the house.

Just keep in mind that mistakes happen on the sorority side of recruitment A LOT where the lineup gets messed up and you arent called in the correct order like if someones misses lineup and goes last.
also sometimes girls will straight up lead their pnm to the wrong room or sit them in the wrong chair
but I wouldn't read to much into how many girls you talk to....at some sororities if they hand you off that can mean they arent liking the conversation or if they introduce you to someone they might just be trying to kill time
