I’m so confused why we have a new sorority

Panhellenic started an entirely new sorority, but GPhi is still not even close to hitting a quota??? Does this mean that they’re just going to help ADPi Does well and then kicked Gphi off

As long as the majority of the chapters hit quota and total plus as long a there is enough interest with unmatched PNMs, then there is a need.
Sucks for Gphi but that is how it works. Same thing happened to AOPi a few years ago.

The reason is because the New Member classes, as well as the chapters as a whole, are getting entirely too large. Chapters that grow too large feel impersonal and institutional instead of like a sisterhood. It is too hard to get to know your NM class when their are so many in it, and your NM class is the single MAJOR factor of your entire sorority experience. Also large classes and memberships end up being a full time job for exec members to manage and administer. The existing chapters here are grateful for a new one and want ADPi to succeed, and GPhi as well, so everyone can have a better sorority experience.
