no partying / strict sorority
by: this sucksI recently joined a sorority and was so excited to go to TGs and have fun parties and stuff, but it seems like my sorority is so strict on rules. we aren’t allowed to pregame or bring fake IDs but all my other friends in greek life have pregames with the actives and drink at the events. Is this normal or is my sorority just boring as hell??

no sorority that i know of allows girls to bring fakes but usually we just have older sisters get us stuff. it's just for liability reasons for the organization. however, the sorority i'm in is known on this site for being "boring" and we do tons of pregames and events so it's weird to me that houses wouldn't allow a pregame

I’m in a sorority that “doesn’t pregame” and when I was a new mem they were very strict on “not pregaming” but they just had to say that as a liability thing. Everyone pregames. Don’t show up to TGs or events plastered, but if you have one or two drinks beforehand, it’s fine cause everyone did.
