NO there isn't. Kappa is the most recent addition.

I know you desire many posts expressing one or another group to belong to our greek life.

However, it is the better idea to allow our current sorority homes breathing room from extension.

We have already added three NPC groups between 2014-2018.

Our quota number has been lowered by 12 women per house this year.

Chapter total lowered to 199, and Kappa might have taken at least chapter total for their colony.

Six of our sixteen current groups have been on campus two times I.E. recolonized at some point. Eight NPC groups no longer have chapters here, one of them with FOUR former colonizations and one with THREE (so I doubt those two groups would have interest!).

There is also a current, common nationwide downsizing of greek interest and a lowering of undergraduate student enrollment. Many campuses are evaluating the veracity, effectiveness and necessity of continuing to host a greek system.

In two years, IF pnm numbers and student interest provide, extension might once again be considered.

I'd hate to be the sorority chosen NOW to colonize during the 2020-21 year, as numbers and interest might not be 'there' at that time and a colony would have to be cancelled.

NPC groups have individual criteria for accepting to present and then colonize to a campus. Finances, housing, student interest and alumnae involvement availability all affect a colony. More than several groups who are not currently here have limited resources for colonizing on large campuses.

Again, there is no need to open for expansion at this time.

OP didn’t say we need to expand, they just asked who’d we want to see.

I’m a fan of Phi Mu personally. I can see them coming in strong here since we have a big dance marathon program and their philanthropy is CMNH so they’ll have that connection to campus immediately.

Sigma Kappa flopped when they were here. They never owned a house and they weren't here very long.

FAKE NEWS. Phi Mu National would have announced that by now and they would have it posted on their website, so NO.

Nice try. They were invited to present with Zeta and ADPi a few years ago but backed out of the deal. Their old how is now an apartment building on 15th.

Phi Mu is not a good sorority nationally, we need a stronger chapter to establish here

I agree, the best sororities nationally (kappa tridelt chio aphi theta) are here but I think we can still do better than phi mu. Thats realllllly sinking, what about ADpi or SDT

Would love to see ADPi come back. Unfortunately they sold their house to FIJI. They probably would have been selected over Zeta to recolonize if Shelley Meyer wasn't pulling for Zeta.
We should have had ADPi colonize instead of Kappa. PHA wanted it but tOSU administration overruled PHA.
