sorority dues

Depends on the sorority for the most part. I know mine has several payment plans, and in rush I learned lots of others do too! Almost everyone had some option that wasn't the lump sum, and treasurers are willing to help. Don't ask about finances right away, it can look bad. I'd ask at the end, as I can't speak for every chapter and it's options. Just make sure you know how much new member dues are before committing, but almost all have some type of plan from what I learned. Good luck!

i know the year i rushed theta at face value was most expensive and aopi was the least, but dues change a lot and this may still not even be correct. sometimes costss are higher because they include things that other lower costs don't (i.e. maybe shirts or something). but i would most definitely make it a point to ask about dues at some point while rushing, it shows financial responsibility. it's too common girls join having never talked with a chapter about finances then drop when they realize the cost, which is heartbreaking after they take the time to extend them a bid. it can be a lot of money, but i would venture to guess that every chapter has some sort of payment plan system that make it easier to pay. if finances may serve to be an issue ask girls of that sorority a lot about what the chapter can do to make it easier. they should be completely transparent about it as well as their payment policies. best of luck with informal :)
