Similar to sigma chi - some say they dislike sigma chis/kappas as a whole, but really like several individuals. some girls are very, very sweet, despite the 'stuck-up' reputation, but others deserve the rep, just like any of the sorority reputation. very focused on derby days

kappa is full of many wonderful girls. you will always see them out having a great time too. intimidating as a whole but there are many sweet girls who are easy to talk to and nicer than they look. really a great group of girls and i anticipate them doing well in rush!

Definitely the "blond, popular, rich girls". That's about it though. Zero to no campus involvement... except Derby days, surprise. Doesn't really seem like they are too sisterhood-y. Snobby and unfriendly for sure.

yes they may be the top house and have hot girls; however, they are superficial, they backstab and don't care about anything but their name and themselves. thats not a sisterhood.

these girls get a bad rep for not being involved on campus but thats just an old stereotype. in recent years they have stepped it up and participated more actively. i know from a friend that the only event they didnt participate in last year was because they couldnt, due to national risk managemtent rules and not because they didnt want to. i have many friends who are Kappas and they are really nice, genuine girls who are involved in their sisterhood and friendly to everyone
