sororities
by: SophomoreI never rushed freshman year but kind of want to this year... Is it had to get a bid from a sorority as a sophomore?

I went through rush as a junior and got into a strong middle house. I heard from everyone that Alpha Phi doesn't take sophomores or juniors, so I put them out of my mind and dropped them the first day. I got dropped by a couple of other houses, but I'll never know if it was because I was a junior or they didn't like me. I say go for it. Just don't even try for Alpha Phi.

Not everyone graduates in four years. People go through rush as a junior and can get middle houses if they are cute looking girls.

Yes that's exactly why I said no top sorority will take juniors, I didn't say all sororities won't

Alpha Phi wouldn't be a house for me if I wasn't a freshman. They are very appealing to freshman but I probably couldn't stomach them after that. And they don't take many sophomores compared to other sororities. I

Couldn't stomach them cause you'd get cut after one round. APhi doesn't take more or less sophomores than Theta, DG, or other top sororities. Sorry you're a sophomore but get over it.

You're dumb. Alpha Phi took 3 sophomores last year. And the year before that they took 4. No need to spread false information. All sororities take sophomores, no top sorority will take juniors at all. Why would they? You'd be in the chapter for barely over a year before graduating.
