sorority

by: mem

I really don’t feel like myself in my sorority. It’s not about tier (it’s an upper middle) i just feel so out of place and i just don’t fit in. If i drop now, can i still do formal next year or informal in the fall?

You can do formal next year but I would give it a little time. You have until you are initiated to drop and I would really feel it out before you drop. Sometimes it takes a couple weeks

Wait it out and see how you feel. I felt the same way at first but now I love it. You’ll find your fit.

honestly a lot of girls feel that way their first few weeks, just remember that your sorority saw something in you that you might not see in yourself quite yet. Wait it out, and try to keep an open mind! Hang in there!

Yes you can do formal next year. In fact if you know girls in the house you like it can work to your advantage. This costs a lot of money.... why waste it for girls you don’t like ? I rushed as a sophomore and got what I wanted but I also befriended many members bf rush.

Oh and as for the wait it out period... only wait it out until your dues are due. Why pay hundreds of dollars for something that you’re not convinced about? Please....

We had a few drop from our pledge class around the time dues needed to be paid. I honestly can’t blame them bc why pay so much for letters they clearly didn’t want? Good riddance for the house and them. If it’s not a match, it’s not a match!
