sorority rush gpa

how important is GPA for rush? There was a lot of personal stuff going on outside of school this semester so I️ have a GPA below a 3.0 but above a 2.5, but I️ know I️ could definitely do better next semester and in the future

Sororities all have a GPA standard that they expect, and an easy way to cut down the number of girls asked back is to drop any girl with a GPA under a certain point. You're definitely going to have to work harder to make a good impression so the girls remember you and you don't fall victim to this. I had a 2.7 when rushing and that definitely affected my experience, but it all worked out in the end.
