gpa for sororities

I had a really rough first semester, I had a terrible thing happen to me at school and my grades are meh. i never make excuses for myself but I am a good student under normal circumstances so I'm worried. I will probably end with around a 3.1 GPA for my first semester, maybe a 3.05. Will this close tons of doors to sororities known as the smart ones?

same for me, i'll probably end up with a 3.4 at the end of the semester. do i still have a chance at smart ones?

If you are over a 3.0 you should be fine. Sorry you had a bad first semester. Hopefully your new sisters can help you through what happened.
