Kappa Alpha Theta - ΚΑΘ Sorority at California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo - CP 4.5 Honestly, this website is a joke. All this hatred towards houses makes me sick. I know a lot of thetas and they are all total sweethearts and not pretentious in the least! Its what makes them stand out as a sorority.

Kappa Alpha Theta - ΚΑΘ Sorority at California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo - CP 3.5 I think these girls get picked on because they aren't like the stereotypical sorority. If you want that experience, there are houses for that. But these girls definitely have something special that keeps them so bonded and close. I think they are a great house, just not for me.

You have a low ranking in Cal Poly's sorority system because the general perception of Theta is not positive. Some see you as not as attractive, standoffish and mean. Two of these things can be helped. For example, in stead of being bitter and putting down other houses, you should be positive and focus on building your house out. Reach out to other houses not just because you have to, but because you want to. Be proud of being a part of greek life in general; all houses have something great to contribute. In my past years at Cal Poly I have noticed that Theta is exceptionally spirited, athletic, fun, and winners all around. I know the house has many wonderful girls. The whole perception of the house just needs a little tweaking, and the house could someday be a "top house".
