Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority Ratings at GMU

They're over rated in my opinion. They dont do many events to raise money for their philanthropy which in my opinion is one of the most important parts of being a part of a sorority. Their sisterhood is extremely strong but they dirty rushed this year and it gave them a bad reputation in some of the new members eyes. I know girls in this sisterhood who are great people but they act like they're better than the other sororities on campus.

Thanks to the Aphi below for typing this (they aren't good at hiding things especially when they post it from their phones in public). They never exploited a death and it's sick that you would think they would do that to get a better pledge class than you! They never had any sisters drop because of this. Get your facts straight.

I like Aopi, they were all really nice and respectful during recruitment. A lot of people are saying they used the death of their sister as a way to get sympathy but as someone who saw the ceremony and was actually present, it was a sweet way to honor and show respect to a sister they had lost and in no way did it seem like they were trying to get points.

I would have to disagree with the comment below. I rushed this past fall and preffed Chi Omega and AOPI my last day. However, the second day the reason I dropped Alpha Phi is because they were telling me that AOPI was going to use their sister's death as a sob story to recruit girls. This really turned me off and I think it's really sad they would tell girls this. Although AOPI was not the right home for me, I don't think for a second their intentions were bad. Their ceremony was beautiful.

I'm in neither AOPi or Aphi but it's funny to see how obvious one of the rankers below is an Aphi just by comparing the time/date of one of the posts written below and the positive self-ranking on aphi's page. Not classy or smart.

They're self rankers but really who isn't. I'd say top of the middle tier with girls who are obviously attractive but sometimes aren't worth the drama. Chi-O for me now

Probably top of middle. Met some really nice girls here during recruitment, but also met some who openly disliked sisters/bigs/families/l ittles etc.

AOPi was the top sorority in my days. With their wonderful 2014 pledge class, looks like they will be on top again!!! Roses!!

These girls worked their butts off this year during recruitment and it shows. They got the best pledge class on campus and they should be proud. Congrats on being back on top ladies
