FSU and dirty rushing?!

Sorority recruitment is highly regulated to the point that there is little ‘dirty rush’. However, the rules also prohibit certain sororities from inviting back as many potentials as they want after the first round. The system is designed to give every potential a bid, even if it’s not to their first choice.

Honey, rush starts for you the moment you sign up for recruitment. What do you think the sororities do all summer with your registration packet and social media handles? Sororities are open minded enough to consider everything about you before you show up on campus: your grades, your resume, your social media, and if anyone in their chapter knows you or knows of you. They will have 99% decided about you coming back for their round 2 before round 1 even happens. They all have a grade cut off, a connected social network to certain high schools and home towns, and a certain vibe they are going for, and meeting you in person is pretty much just confirmation of what they already figured out. There are always a few pnm's who show up and surprise though, some in the good way and others the bad. Sorority membership selection is FAR MORE OPEN MINDED than the pnm's tend to be about the sororities. YOU are the one who needs to keep an open mind.

An honest question. Did ALL the sororities agree to this recruitment system? And do you think it’s fair to ALL the sororities.
