This sorority seems to be a hit or miss, some girls are the nicest and best people you’ll meet and others are just mean and cliquey. As a whole, the chapter looks very similar. I think they are the only ones that may stray away from values based recruitment because it seems that every pledge class looks the same. I heard they bid promise during recruitment but I don’t know if that is true or not. From what I hear, a lot of their rules seem high maintenance, but likely for good reasoning. Their philanthropy does good work, but I don’t see them involved in much outside of their house. They have really fun and creative social events, and is a top house along with kappa. I’m an outsider so my opinion isn’t biased but I also don’t really know how the chapter functions on its own so it could be a great house to be in. It also is apparently a very nice house so that’s good too.

i’m not sure what “scandals” the people on here are talking about but i know a few girls in phi and they’ve always been really nice to everyone. the girls in phi are super genuine and would never start drama.

I have a couple friends in Phi that I love, but when you look at the chapter as a whole it is completely different. They are very mean and only care about partying and making sure everyone knows that. It is scandal after scandal and nothing ever gets done from what I heard. They live for the drama. Glad my friends in it separate themselves from that part of it.

Alpha Phi is a sorority of beautiful, diverse, and ambitious girls. Stereotyping them all as party girls just doesn’t quite fit many within this chapter. They care very deeply about their sisters and are sure to stay involved not only on Greek Street, or even the campus, but within their community as a whole. This chapter holds its girls to high moral and academic standards, but it also encourages them to build relationships both within and outside of their own house.

They do a great job getting involved in FSL and across campus. But, there’s only ever 1 or 2 non-white, thin women per pledge class. It’s very obvious they favor appearances over all. There’s some very sweet Phi’s but the chapter as a whole doesn’t value being nice. they value looking nice.
