fraternity rush

Do most fraternity's care about gpa at all or what are their cut offs for gpa requirements for sophomores transferring my gpa is a 3.36 does that eliminate me from anywhere if I tried to rush cause if so I won't even look there

I know my friend got dropped from every house he rushed because of his 2.0. He got it up and got a handful of bids the following semester. I think anything over a 3 should be okay for most houses.

Why is it tougher being a sophomore rush? I thought year didn't really affect much up till ur a junior than it can be an issue

It isn't horrible. If they like you you will be fine but if your on the edge it can be a deal breaker

For the #1 ranked fraternity Lambda Chi it could be a deal breaker, since Lambda Chi is #1 on most rushees list they can be very selective. Lambda Chi always has the highest GPA and that's what's sets them apart from the rest they get first pick of rushees so they bid the best looking and the smartest with the best personalities

So is anything above a 2.5 okay? Even if it was my first semester here at ASU?
