dear pnm’s…just to let you know sk is known to self rank. how may you ask? look at the reviews from “<3” and “sorority” on here from May 24th. The back to back reviews with the same associations to ACACIA and delta gamma is obviously one person leaving good reviews for the sorority. The reviews are also identical but with different wording. So there’s your proof for the self ranking!! Which means please listen to the honest negative reviews on here warning you ahead of time before you regret initiating for good!

Sigma Kappa is home to some of the sweetest girls on campus. It is one of the most diverse sororities at ASU which makes for a super welcoming environment. Not a “top tier” sorority but definitely not bottom, and they have gotten a lot cuter in the past few years.

sigma kappa is not as bad as everyone on here is making it seem, the people leaving these reviews are negative (or should I say one person). i feel like the girls are sweet and there definitely is a sisterhood. sigma kappa is great because there are a lot of different kinds of people, so you don't have to fit in with a specific look/or crowd. there are a lot of cute girls, especially the newer mems. it is getting better with each PC and I can see there being many more attractive girls in it. the sorority is what you make it, and I would say sig kap is definitely more mid, def not bottom tier but also not top!

Recruitment with them last year was so sad. A girl tried bumping her group member when they weren’t supposed to and the dirty look the girl I was talking to gave the other girl was just not it for me. The other girl looked shocked and walked away and I felt so bad. It seems like the true colors were shown right in front of me and I did not want to be in a house where girls tear each other down for making little mistakes…..

I have had nothing but great experiences with the girls in the chapter! Everyone I have met in SK has been super down to earth and genuine. They are definitely middle tier but they are lowkey on the come up

okay so i’m currently in sk and i like it. i was considering dropping just because i have a busy schedule, but i decided against it. i’ve talked to a couple girls in my class and we all agree that the sorority is low in a lot of categories. since we are freshmen, we have a few years to get the sorority at least a little bit back to it’s former glory lol. we talked a lot about attending more events and being more involved. we’re planning to get on exec to make changes. in my own experience, i’ve never felt bullied or looked down upon. i’ve never witnessed any type of bullying or racism. maybe it’s just because i don’t live in the house so i don’t see things happening. but if i saw something happening, i would say something and drop. hopefully we will make some changes before new members start joining. sk is not as bad as people say it is. ig some people or former members just had bad experiences or something. i’m not at all saying that we are amazing but we aren’t bad people.

I have to laugh….they just recently bought followers on Instagram to go from 6k to 10k overnight….that just screams how insecure they are. this is so sad to see but it’s funny at the same time LMAO

Don’t listen to the haters. I can only share my experience. I joined another sorority my freshman year. Dropped it my second year after moving into the glv and seeing just how bad the sisterhood was. One of my bffs was a SK so I started hanging outs with her and her other friends : sisters and found genuine friendship. These girls have a lot of fun and welcome and support others. It was so refreshing after the pettiness and cliquiness I had experienced in my house. Love my SK friends!!

Dear PNM’s: There are much better houses at ASU with better reputations that are still diverse, genuine, and uphold their values. Sigma Kappa’s exec has been monitoring their Greek rank reviews since the year started and I don’t see any other house obsessed with this pointless site. Go and find your home but letting you know now this isn’t the house to be if they want to silence innocent people who just want to share their negative experiences.
