I don’t think they handed it to anyone who wanted a bid but I agree it’s an awkward mix of girls, I don’t think they planned it through and the did recruit after formal recruitment so idk they originally had a lot to work with maybe their national was just throwing darts in the dark and seeing what they would hit in terms of over chapter personality. Over the years we’ll see how they turn out 🤷‍♀️

They essentially checked off every box that could count as “diversity” when they first recruited. The truth is when you recruit the way they did at first, you’re gonna get an assorted group that really has no direction or common ground with each other bc there’s just so many personalities and ppl get swallowed up who don’t have as strong personalities as others. This org just reeks of internal issues. It doesn’t help that a bunch of their members recently disaffiliated... I feel bad because they have a lot of potential but they just seem like they have a lot of work to do.

Phi Mu - ΦΜ Sorority at Adelphi University - AU 4.7 Sweet, diverse, accepting and polite group of girls who aren’t just here to party. This sorority sets high gpa standards and has strong expectations of their members. I love how there is not just one look and uniqueness is celebrated. You will never feel pressured and everyone can truly be themselves. This sorority also knows how to PARTY. From observing at bars and on campus, they always know how to have fun. Definitely one of the tops orgs and want to rush them in the spring!

Sweet, diverse, accepting and polite group of girls who aren’t just here to party. This sorority sets high gpa standards and has strong expectations of their members. Phi Mu - ΦΜ Sorority at Adelphi University - AU 2.7 Kinda a weird mix of girls. Definitely mixed feelings on this group. Some are friendly and nice and some the complete opposite. Lots of girls in this group seem kind of bitter about greek life so I don't see them contributing much to other groups or being active with other sororities. I've seen some of the girls outwardly ignore other so called members in their own sorority. I see the same people hanging out together so wouldn't be surprised if it is cliquey. Seems like they have poor sisterhood. You can tell they are trying to become better, and I'm sure they can be with a little bit of work, but seems like they have to work out some internal problems first...
