underwhelmed with sororities

by: southern girl

Transfer student here. honestly pretty underwhelmed with jmu greek life so far. Do the sororities here always have this much of a superiority complex? I knew it was a party school coming in, but some guys and girls act like they're top-tier sec when it's literally just Harrisonburg. What's with the attitude? like, girl you’re from JERSEY (not nyc)

if you feel that way, it's simple - don't rush. don't need to come on her bashing our school. maybe go back to wherever you're transferring from

If you have a problem with sorority girls don't rush or don't hang out with them! We are super proud of our sororities and happy with our friends.Problem with Jersey,I don't know what to tell you,Jersey is everywhere.JMU has girls and boys from everywhere get over yourself.

someone had to finally say it out loud. I’m literally in a sorority, we all talk, and it’s a known fact that some of these jersey girls come in here acting like they run the campus. and the jersey guys are worse! Nobody can stand the attitude, not even the NY people and you know it’s bad if they’re agreeing
