anyone that thinks alpha phi is going to be their best option for a sisterhood really needs to search “university of Michigan alpha phi recruitment” and see how shady and messed up their National’s recruitment strategy is… good luck

I read about this and unfortunately I don’t think their recruitment strategies are atypical. One thing that I have heard about them nationally that is unique is that for certain chapters they will have sisters from other chapters travel to participate in rush. Their own sisters who aren’t deemed “worthy” have to sit out recruitment while prettier sisters from other schools who don’t even know each other play pretend. 🙄 I wouldn’t be surprised if JMU’s chapter did this several years ago to improve their ranking considering they were one step above DG for many years.

Older girls seem a bit fake but that’s nearly every sorority. New pledge class is nice based on my experience and is hopefully fixing aphi’s rep of bad sisterhood.
