i'm not trying to scare you, but i came in out of state not having any connections besides girls i met at preview and spring teas. i had a decent gpa and two recs for each house, some were alabama alum, and i even had the president of a sorority at a very prestigious school offer to write me a rec. I got dropped from 11/16 of the houses first round... so don't expect to be invited back everywhere you felt you had good conversations with due to having little connections. go through rush with an open mind, EVERY house here is incredible and honestly we all do similar things and there's not HUGE differences in houses since there's 350+ girls in each.
