Since you brought up traditions, let's look at when chapters were founded at Alabama: KD - 1904 ADPi - 1907 Zeta - 1910 Tri Delt - 1914 Alpha Gam -1921 Chi O - 1922 Delta Zeta - 1922 AXO - 1924 Kappa - 1927 Phi Mu - 1932 Alpha Phi - 1932 Delta Gamma - 1947 Pi Phi - 1949 Theta - 1967 AOPi - 1967 Gamma Phi - 1989 Sigma Kappa - 2018 (Some of these chapters left campus and have returned. However, that doesn't negate their alumnae support or traditions.) Traditions are formed over time. OR has traditions, NR has traditions...pledge where you feel comfortable.
