It's not like you can ONLY be friends with your sisters. Everyone here has good friends in other sororities, and there are girls in EVERY chapter who just go through the motions and do the bare minimum. I love my house but I can easily see how some girls might join a "top" house just for the bragging rights and to promote their own image. We're living in an age where followers and personal brand matter more than sisterhood I guess! Not saying I approve of it, but it happens.
