No 'better house' is going to drop you round 1 and then turn around and offer you a snap or cob. A snap would only go to a girl who was carried by a house through round 3 at least, IF the house had to snap, and a COB would only come from the same 'bottom tier' houses you didn't want. Snap and COB don't exist for disgruntled pnm's for a second chance or a backdoor, they are for the sororities to maintain equity in the memberships. Your pi chi would explain that to you.
