Rushing as a sophomore

Very low chances of “top house” when rushing as an upperclassman. I’ve seen success stories only from one of these few things. 1. Seriously a big deal on campus (being on MSU sports teams - like dance, cheer, volleyball, etc) 2. “Miss Mississippi”/ Teen USA type things 3. Close friends with an entire friend group of said house.

With that, I would not worry because the majority of houses will treat you just like anyone else! The “top” houses aren’t top because they do anything objectively better. In fact, it could be argued that the more middle tier houses have more objective success depending on what a PNM is looking for! “Top” has nothing to do with kindness, sisterhood, and determination.. all houses have that if you are open to finding it! Keep your head up & stay through the process! Know your worth walking in there!
