KD & AXO Houses
by: update plz?Are KD and AXO houses still on track for occupancy in August? Will they rush out of those houses and have girls living in them 6 mths from now?

All houses are different. Supply and demand decides a lot of the time. Most houses allow seniority first then something like GPA, but sophomores still end up in the house bc not enough upperclassmen want to - most of the time. Chi O probably fills their house the easiest out of everyone, so it’s normal for them to have all sophomores in the sorority dorm & upperclassmen in house but that’s not true for all houses!

I can attest that sororities DO have a hard time filling their houses on the campus. Yes. I was not wrong in saying it. Some don’t. Some do. Just because there are way more girls than beds doesn’t mean that all of the members agree to live in. A lot of them don’t like the strict rules for the house.

honey please.
nobody is buying that all (or even most) sororities at state have issues filling beds.
there may be one sorority who has trouble. and maybe that's your house... idk. but saying they all do is a huge lie. you ARE wrong, and that's okay.
i know for a FACT that multiple houses at State have waiting lists and more girls wanting housing than they can accommodate. that's why they all keep renovating - because members want to live there! duh.

Chi O doesn't have the "easiest" time filling their house, they just have the fewest available spots because they let seniors stay on after living in during their junior year instead of making room for more women.
For instance, this fall, only about 25% of their junior class will ever even have the opportunity to "live-in" because of seniors who are taking 2 years in the house. And since their house is not one of the larger ones, when girls take 2 years in the house, they decrease the number of women with the potential to take advantage of "living-in."

I was just saying that they do have the easiest time filling a house (maybe others have it just as easy but for a fact chi o does). If it’s hard for girls to get a spot in the chi o house, that is my point exactly. They may have issues accommodating everyone who wants to live in, but they EASILY have it full every year. what about that is hard for you to understand?
lots of the houses at State have an easy time with brand new women having the opportunity every year - and chi o is no more special than the rest. why so defensive about chi o?
