Letters of recommendation

Recs aren't required any more. Get them if you can because a lot of pnm's do and you want to have the same advantage, even if it's a slight one. Some sororities now allow third party recs, meaning not from an alum, as long as the rec writer knows you well, like teacher, coach, boss etc. Some sororities also allow recs from actives at a different chapter than you are rushing. One rec per house will do, not multiple.
