Delta Delta Delta - ΔΔΔ Sorority at Mississippi State University - MSU 3.0 I know that "legacies aren't guaranteed a bid" and everything now but this house does not even show them respect. Primary Legacies planning on following in your mothers footsteps, don't get your hopes up. Apparently it doesn't matter how much time and effort your family members put into this house because they don't care, even if your resume is killer.

Just because a legacy is released by a house does not mean that the legacy rushee is not shown respect. All groups release legacies early on in the process (and as much as it may hurt, it may be kinder in the long run, so the rushee can focus on another group where they may be a better fit).

Hunny has a point. If a chapter isn't feeling a legacy or she wouldn't be a good fit for the chapter then they will release her early. That is because if she makes it to pref then some chapters are required to give her a bid. However, I understand your anger. I would be upset if my chapter cut my daughter or sister.
