Chi Omega - ΧΩ Sorority at Mississippi State University - MSU 3.0 I think the point is that its totally wrong for Chi O to make an entire group of girls at rush know that they do not want them. I'm not claiming they don't make quota, I know they choose not to. But I think that choice shows the true nature of Chi O. It sucks.

Chi Omega - ΧΩ Sorority at Mississippi State University - MSU 4.8 If you know Chi O doesn't want upperclassmen then why would you want them.. or even care? Sure being a Chi O is great and all but I'd much rather be somewhere where I am wanted.

Chi Omega - ΧΩ Sorority at Mississippi State University - MSU 3.0 That's the kind of thing that rubs people the wrong way about Chi O. There are A LOT of great upperclassmen that come through, and they make great members like any other girl. That's why there is a quota for them in the first place. I personally don't care about yelling that Chi O doesn't make upperclassmen quota or that they choose not to so it's not a big deal. What bothers me is that it's kind of a slap in the face to any upperclassmen going through. They are broadcasting that unless you have family ties or a lot of friends already in Chi O you aren't going to be considered, just because you wont be there for 4 years. Its just rude to the older girls to not even bother. Some friends that rushed as sophs last year from MSU said they already knew Chi O didn't care about getting them (except for 1 that had a 4.0) so they all cut them 1st round. Girls here know you don't want them, so they don't want you back. It just shows a lack of class or consideration on Chi O's part.

Chi Omega - ΧΩ Sorority at Mississippi State University - MSU 3.3 One of the girls I talked to during rush asked me if I like Harry potter, I told her it was alright and that I had only seen a few of the movies, so naturally she thought to talk my ear off about Harry potter. I had no idea what she was talking about. These girls seemed to be a little socially awkward at times.

Chi Omega - ΧΩ Sorority at Mississippi State University - MSU 4.8 has a serious obsession with hating on Chi O and their "not making quota". Speaking as an upperclassmen that went through recruitment, I thought it was pretty rude of them to intentionally not take upperclassmen. Never did I actually think they couldn't do it. But if you think about it, they'd rather have higher retention in the long run. I got over the fact that I didn't get this top house because obviously God had other plans for me. I finally realized that, and maybe you should too. Stop bashing Chi O.
