Chi Omega - ΧΩ Sorority at Mississippi State University - MSU 3.5 The whole initiation thing does not sit well. They way they pick the order of which girls are initiated first/middle/last based on how popular or cute they are? That’s a no for me. And then the very last girl to be initiated in that coffin ceremony is the “favorite pledge” and gets to wear something special that none of the other pledges do. That’s just not okay. As if sororities need any more fingers pointed at them for being snarky - this doesn’t help. Sad for all the girls initiated first to find out what that really means :(

Chi Omega - ΧΩ Sorority at Mississippi State University - MSU 3.4 consistently a top sorority. mainly jackson area girls. and legacies. they take great pride in having the highest gpa. their membership is very diverse. some really party and others super granola. they're pretty involved on campus and well thought of. their intitiation is super weird and invovles a coffin and being 'reborn' as a chi omega = evidenced by the skull and crossbones in their crest. just be aware of this before you pledge if that idea crosses a line for you spiritually.

Not really diverse when 80% of them come from the same zip code. But they’re really smart and always make their girls put in study hours so they get the sorority best grades award. But having to pretend like you die and are reborn during initiation is a bit much.
