Don’t join Kappa. The dues are expensive and not at all worth the money. Compared to other sororities, Kappa has basically 0 sisterhood events/ socials. There was maybe 1 a semester while other sororities have multiple per week. There is a very high chance Kappa won’t be at southern in a few years (they don’t want you to know that) so keep that in mind when rushing

I joined because my sister always talked about her amazing phi mu experience. They were chapter of the year, won so many awards and had great friendships within the whole chapter. I didn’t have that same experience and felt very unwelcome and not included. I didn’t find instant friends in the chapter and faced a lot of bullying and mean girl behavior. I wish I had joined ADPi honestly.
