zeta is already cobing
by: HannaMy cousin dropped out of rush after deciding it wasn't for her and she got an email from Zeta offering her a chance to meet some of the girls in a very hush hush get together at the Zeta house. Already COBing. So either they're lying about reaching quota or they're already losing girls. Sad.

Since every house reached quota this year PHA raised the max number girls that can live in house. Now each house can have 315 girls and so every house can do a "COB" process if they would like and take advantage of the numbers being raised. Zeta is taking advantage of it, that's not something to be ashamed of.

Way to try and bash Zeta. Alpha Phi already offered spots to girls. Zeta should be adding to quota, they are getting a $10.1 million dollar house. I expect other houses will COB also. And I am so sure your "cousin" had this experience. Why don't you grow up and stop looking to bash houses.

Quota has nothing to do with COB!!!
Chapter total at Mizzou is 315. Every single house under 315 is able/encouraged to COB to total.
315 is AVERAGE chapter size. It's simple math. Not every house can be above average... About half (give or take a bit, since this is average and not median) of houses would have been eligible to COB immediately.

As others have mentioned, chapter total is revised to approximately average chapter size not long after formal recruitment; therefore, about half of the chapters will now fall under the new PHC chapter total even after formal recruitment when all chapters made quota. This allow chapters to obtain parity and develop a healthy NPC. Sometimes a chapter may have a large amount of graduates/study abroad/inactive members in comparison to others. Any chapter under total may COB to total.

They took advantage of PHA raising the chapter total to 315 and wanted more great members! Especially with getting a new house and homecoming around the corner the more dedicated members they have the better. I'm sure many chapters have already COB'd too! Stop bashing Zeta because they wanted to add more members to their sisterhood and increase the number of woman involved in Greeklife.

Any house that can add more members now will have their pick of many very well qualified pnms. There were almost 700 who went through recruitment that didn't match with a house or dropped before bid day plus other girls who may have not gone through formal recruitment but are now interested.
