Most likely the pledges this semester won't get to live in house. Usually the sororities work something out where you live in the same neighborhood or apartment complexes though.

You woudn't get to live in your sophomore year but if you hold an exec position you potentially could the first year it's rebuilt

Thanks, DG. But your house now is kind of awful, especially compared to some of the beautiful and historic houses on this campus. And since PNMs who join this year won't be able to live in the house, well, good luck with recruitment.

It's supposed to look like the current house, just bigger to accommodate the bigger numbers of girls going through recruitment. I also heard it's going to face Providence now instead of the corner of Providence and Burnam.

Theta is adding something to their house, I believe it is a porch. KD just redid their formal and lounge room this summer. APHi and GPhi did some remodeling recently. And Chi O's and Tri Sigs house are very new. Other than DG there aren't houses that are getting a house in the next year or so.

I know GPhi just re-did a lot of their interior a few years ago, as did AXO. Aphi is redoing their basement this year and I think is going to rebuild in the next several years. Theta is redoing their house in stages starting this summer.

Delta added on a new addition and SK gutted the entire house and revamped it before any of the girls moved when they colonized.

Just like most houses when rebuilding, you either tear down your entire house and sabotage yourself for recruitment, or you wait until a lot opens up. A friend of mine in Aphi told me that APhi has been trying to get the house inbetween them and Pike for a while now.
Also DG would be smart to put in an underground parking garage and expand back in their lot -- they have no room to the right or left of them with APhi and ChiO's lots.

Agreed. And keep that pavilion they have for sunbathing. My friend is a DG and we went up there once to tan and it was sooooooo nice.

I've heard the house will look similar, but they won't have the sun deck so they will be able to make the most out of the new extra space and have more rooms...it's been years since they've been able to house their whole pledge class

That would be a great idea but Richmond Place is an up and running apartment complex so DG can't just take it over for a year...people have leases there
