joining a new sorority

Hi, I currently go to another school and I was initiated into a sorority, I want to transfer here and they do not have my sorority,I was wondering if it would be possible for me to resign and join a new sorority? I heard you can get the consent from both sororities to do so, but how does that work, what is the process?

Once you are initiated into any sorority that is part of the National Panhellenic Conference/Organization, you are not able to ever join another PHA sorority. There is no such thing as a consent between groups. If you want to stay Greek, you will need to transfer to a school that has your sorority and try to transfer in.
