Some girls will drop, many will get cut. My guess over 400 girls will not get a bid. But I would think each pledge class will consist of 80-90 for each chapter.

first time on the site. what a load of bull each house is trying to pull. let's be honest here:

TOP in no order:
CHI O
DELTA
PI PHI
KAPPA

MID TIER ORDER:
THETA
ADPI
GPHI
APHI
DG

BOTTOM TIER ORDER:
AXO
KD
ZETA
PHI MU
SIGMA

First time on this site? Hahah I highly doubt that. Your ranking is obviously a self-serving rank and an opinion - your self serving, biased, or sabataging opinion, not everyone's opinion. I could argue with 90% of that list, and many people I know would too.
For example-
1. Kappa is not top tier - if you're going to go that route - Id say ADPi or Theta, but instead...
2. GPhi and DG are both more desired during rush and should be in the top tier yet you have them in midtier (jealous much?).
3. Zeta and Sigma both have a better shot than AXO KD or Phi Mu to being considered close to the next tier. Most people had trisig in lower end of mid tier most of last year after rush, and had zeta in the bottom of the mid tier the second half of the year after their strong showings in competitions. AXO and KD are on here alot so they shove their beliefs down everyone's throats. Again, I understand this is my opinion, but I know many people who feel the same way I do.

I'm hearing close to 1,700 women are going thru recruitment.
So here's some words of advice, without agenda or cattiness that usually accompanies the posts on this site:
If you're a fun outgoing hilarious girl, you will find a group of fun hilarious girls in every chapter you will connect with - I promise. If you're a gorgeous stunner who likes to socialize, you will find other gorgeous stunners in every chapter you get a good feeling from - I promise. If you're a hardworking academic type-A achiever, you will find girls just like you in EVERY sorority - promise. If you're smart, pretty, funny whatever - you will find your niche in every house if you give all houses a chance. You remain you regardless of letters. So the most popular girls in schools everywhere will end up in every sorority. Don't judge anything or any house too quickly.

Every chapter at Mizzou has a special personality unique to their house, tiers are never really spoken of around campus since each house deserves given respect.
We are by far one of the stronger Greek life's in the country and everyone can take pride in that!!

Mizzou has a wonderful greek system and PNMs will find happiness in whichever house they choose. I hope as you go through you will remember that the houses that are inviting you back are doing so because they want YOU. As a PNM, you don't really know anything about the inner workings of the houses but the girls who belong there do. If they cut you, you wouldn't have been a good fit. Accept that and rejoice in the houses that would be happy to have you as their sister. Disregard the stuff you read on here about tiers and etc. In fact if you want to use the Internet I suggest going to each chapters web page. Everyone gets along and everyone in the greek system does things together. So many girls make a decision they regret later when they drop out after their favorite house cuts them. You will never have more greek options than when you're a freshman, so don't make that mistake. Every house has all kinds of girls -- you WILL find girls just like you in every house. Enjoy each day!

Top: DG, Gphi, and Delta
(these are the hardest houses to get into and have the hottest members, AKA all the boys love them)

Upper mid: Pi Phi, Chio, Theta

Middle: kappa, ADPi, and APhi

Lower Mid: AXO, KD, and Zeta

Bottom: Sigma Kappa (default), Sigma, and Phi Mu

Pi Phi and Chi O are harder to get into than G Phi. You actually have to have substance to get into one of those two.

Relative. If your grades are bad ALL houses are hard to get into.

If your grades are mediocre you will have a hard time getting into ChiO, PiPhi, Theta and possibly even Adpi and Kappa.

If your not in part of a particular "clique" you may have trouble getting into Delta, Gphi and possibly DG.

There is also exceptions to all of these... Just a generalization.
