I bet that's not Pi Phi with the low ranks. It's probably someone trying to make it look like they're obsessed with self ranking. I just don't think they really care....

How much preference, if any, is given to Legacies? My Mom was in a sorority at MU that seems to be pretty popular. I have decent grades (3.3 -3.4) and a lot of activites. I've heard some will cut legacies for ACT scores under 24. Is that true?

even if you are a leg, no matter your grades some houses will cut you based off other things aka personality, how much they like you... one of my good friends was a legacy with a really high high school gpa and was cut from her legacy.

If you go to three houses on the final day, will you definitely get a bid from one? Or do some poor girls get nothing? What about a legacy on the last day? If they make it to the end, are they assured a bid? Thanks!!

No one is assured a bid at any time. Go into rush with an open mind and you'll be fine. Be yourself pick the right house for you. But just bc anyone has 3 houses on Friday doesn't mean they are guranteed a bid

I know more than probably 10 girls who were legacies who didn't end either getting into or wanting to be in that sorority! Don't stress about it or grades. If they like you they will keep you and you shouldn't get rid of any chapter based on not being a legacy or this website especially. Make your own opinions and observations to find your perfect match!

I've heard there are so many girls going through Recruitment that some houses just cut everyone who doesn't have a 3.5 high school GPA. Is that true? Which ones?

I know chi o, adpi, and pi phi all have pretty high grade cuts. i'm not sure what exactly they are.

don't look at this list for any truth you're searching for! the tiers are no where close to what they should be and you'll easily figure that out through rush. Most people would rank the houses as the following:

top:
Chi O (they're the most well rounded house, not the prettiest but that's not what we're ranking)
Delta (pretty, social, good grades)
pi phi (classy, good recruitment, diverse)
kappa (classy, competitive, respected)

Mid tier
Theta (smart and involved. I've known quite a few that party like deltas too)
ADPi (competitive and involved)
GPhi (very social and pretty, poor grades and retention rate keep them out of top tier though)
APhi (another fun group, lots of dancers and golden girls, but also lack grades and involvement)
DG (decent group that's had some trouble in the past couple years, they used to be a top three house, but still recruit ok members)

Bottom:
AXO/KD (really couldn't tell a difference between these 2 houses. AXO has prettier girls, but KD's typically more involved. generally get the same type of girl. I would say AXO is a more diverse house, I've seen some major partiers. KD usually likes to be on the DL, chill.)
ZTA (zeta probably has the cutest girls of the bottom tier, but their grades and retention rate have kept them in bottom three forever. The good thing is they are showing greektown they want to be more involved)
Phi Mu (sweethearts of greektown. They have a bad stigma against them, but are getting better every year)
Sigma (also a house with a bad stigma like phi mu. I knew a couple nice girls in this house but I think most of their good members either dropped or graduated. not sure what to think of this house anymore with poor retention and poor grades, they have a lot to work on.)
