You will figure it out pretty quickly during rush. There are houses that are very selective and make substantial cuts. They are the ones everyone wants to go back to. Then there are those who will take whoever is left. One of the best indicators is whether they have grade cuts. The best ones do.

Phi mu, sk, aphi and gphi are the easiest.
Theta is the hardest because they are highly selective on grades.
Everyone else is pretty much equal. It's more about who you know. They already have their prospect lists of PMNs so spaces for random PNMs happen but are limited.
KD isn't one the easiest nor are they the hardest either. KD just takes a lot of out of state PNMs which is why people assume they are easy. Also, if you spent a day on campus you would know KD is one of the top 4 largest sororities.

PiPhi, ChiO and ADPi have grade cuts that are as strict as Theta, and are actually harder to get in to because they seek such a diverse membership.

We all have our in house members making recommendations so yes, we have a potential list already. Most of us no longer take anyone consided a legacy over a regular PNM but a few of us do so they get added. This is the illusion of a hard to get into house. It's about who you know, nothing else. You can be the best PNM and end up in a lower house because you didn't know anyone or your socials are set to private. Most randoms not on the list right now are given bids because of their social media followers and quality of posts.
