Honestly? DG sucks. I wouldn't call them a good house. They are just hanging on to their old reputation of being a top house and hoping that will keep them up in the ranks. But at this point, there are bottom tier houses that look better than DG right now. It's sad b/c I had a lot of recs here too when I rushed and I didn't want to believe in the chatter that surrounded this house. Unfortunately, its all true. they have a lot of work to do to even be considered a decent house at all.

They used to be up there with delta and gphi, and they were called the 3 queens. They do ask PNMs what their parents do - a lot of girls I know were asked that at DG.

Delta/GPhi/DG used to be called the "Three Queens" because they were the houses that were all about looks and were the most desired. Now Delta is the most well-rounded of the three, GPhi is more about partying and being hot than anything and DG is barely holding on to lower-middle tier.

This is literally complete BS. So sad that you all are beating down another sorority. DG did win soccer during Greek week and a girl in another sorority was the one who chugged a beer in front of the rec. I know this because the girl that chugged the beer is in my sorority. I'm not in DG but I have some friends in it and they love their friends in there. EVERY sorority offers service opportunities and does a lot of service events otherwise they wouldn't be okay with PHA. I know DG is in good standing with mizzou. Stop hating on other sororities. This is so sad and not the way the Greek community should be acting.
Girls still want to be in DG and AEPi wanted them for HC and they want to win. Stop spreading rumors.

5 years ago you wouldn't find girls at an aepi party. it was a good pick for dg. aepi's a fun house and will bring em some respectability hopefully. most of my chi o friends loved being with aepi and i wouldn't mind being with them at some point (they're probably not my first pick though.)
