who are the biggest self-rankers here?
by: Just wonderingI've been reading this page for a couple of days, trying to gt a handle on sororities at Mizzou and how rush works, just to see if I even want to go through the whole process. Some of the posts are very helpful, like the one about recruitment terms. But some of the pages are very mean, or the sorority is accused of "self-ranking". Who are the biggest "self-rankers"? It looks like Sigma, AXO and ADPi are accused of it often. Is that true? Are they as bad/insecure as it seems? Are there other houses that self-rank, and if so, why?

Maybe AXO (and ADPi, Sigma, etc.) self-rank SO MUCH because everyone picks on them. ADPi has been a good sorority for awhile, but the "top tier" won't accept ADPi. AXO has (sorry girls) been in the basement --so bad for so long -- now they have had a few successes and others can't take it so AXO got defensive and self-ranked. Sigma is new, and agreeably, they've stumbled --A LOT-- but all have good reasons for being such bad self-rankers. We'll have to see about SK.

AXO has been self-ranking and defensive since I started here, and I'm a senior. ADPi hasn't self-ranked as badly as AXO, but NO ONE is as bad a Sigma. Truth. Sorry.
