pnms! so far what are your top 3 choices

if you looked at the rush group chats you'd see a lot of girls wanting to rush Zeta

It must be alumni trying to talk up zeta. No real PNM would bother with zeta. They're bottom tier. Crap grades, no involvement, not popular with frats OR other sororities, and are known as drama starters. Sorry, no one who actually goes to mizzou currently would say zeta is sought after on any level.

i didn't write this post but im looking at zeta too? i don't understand why the tiers matter so much or the "boy" thing? i have friends in house. i've hung out with a lot of zetas. and it's a fun house atleast in my experience, and i've never had any problems with them? so yeah, i'm looking at rushing zeta. regardless of what you think, every other pnm i've talked to would rush zeta over phi mu and tri sigma. every fraternity guy i'm friends with said to rush any house but those two. so is zeta really THAT bottom tier?

Whoever said girls pledge Zeta when they can't get into Alpha Phi or DG has to be joking. Alpha Phi takes whoever they can get, and still manages to have to COB every semester. I would say Zeta and DG are on par, prob middle to low-middle tier. Alpha Phi is bottom tier, plain and simple.

To those PNMs who think "tiers" are important, they aren't. Find the house that makes you feel at home and forgot about what "tier" these wanna be's say is the best (or not).

Can I just remind everyone what house had the worst retention last year? XO. Aphi was in the upper half. No one HAS to COB it's a choice.

So once again Go Away Zeta is basing the worth of an entire sorority on what guys think of them. How enlightened! I tend to value a sorority based on its sisterhood and from what I know, Alpha Phi barely has one because they lose so many girls each semester. And perhaps before you categorize an entire sorority as "mean, nasty girls," you should look in the mirror.

Great post!^ Except for one thing. Zeta IS a fine house. Our least favorite Alpha Phi is desperate and somehow thinks lying about other houses will somehow make Alpha Phi better. The thing is, though, that Alpha Phi is almost dead last in grades (for existing members as well as new members) while Zeta ranked much higher than that for existing members. And, sadly, Alpha Phi had a spring pledge class that also ranked second from the bottom while Zeta didn't even have to do second semester recruitment to fill their house. Now, the 24-7 Alpha Phi next will try to convince us that the gpa's aren't significantly different and that the sorority gpa is embarrassingly awful. Sadly, she's wrong again. On both counts.

This is hilarious! Zeta is single handedly ruining their chances at a decent recruitment. Zeta exec board where are you on this? Lol how embarrassing!

The fact that you spend the day on here talking back and forth with yourself pretending to be different people is really next level psychotic, get help - and a job .. And maybe some company. Spending your weekend nights on Greek rank weekend after weekend, I almost feel sorry for you

i have a 3.8 GPA, personally i think I'm an aphi, gphi kind of girl but pi phi is a house that i am looking at. the sororities grades really doesnt matter to me as long as i find my life long friends??? their grades dont define who I am as a student.

Good luck with that triple legacy. I was too and it didn't mean squat.

Being a legacy might help with these three houses, but it doesn't mean squat in better houses. Theta, PiPhi, TriDelt, ADPi and ChiO could probably fill two pledge classes with legacies going through rush, but they never would.

This!! I came to Mizzou and was convinced I was going to join the house my best friend joined (she's a year older). She actually isn't really like a lot of the girls in her sorority and I wasn't either. They were super fun but it wasn't the house for me. I was devastated when I got cut by them but I am so happy where I am. PNM's, please have an open mind and though it's good to go in to recruitment with a few houses on your radar, you might end up super unhappy if you're dead set on ONE house.
