AXO: Think they're always "on the rise" and "the best", but aren't even close.
Alpha Delta Pi: everyone loves their physical house during recruitment but I heard it's not as nice when you join. The girls just aren't the nicest and are getting meaner since they're on their way down.
Alpha Phi: The "cool" girls. Pretty, trendy and know how to party.
Obviously aren't the nicest girls.
Chi Omega: The "it" girls. Long standing history of being the most desired house. Smart, rich and fairly involved.
Delta Delta Delta: So much drama that a good portion of their house dropped this year. They've kind of lost their identity, TBC
Delta Gamma: Very diverse mix of girls. They're cool, party but not too hard and tend to stay on the DL.
Gamma Phi Beta: Beautiful girls, but don't have a good rep. Trendy and know how to party.
Kappa Alpha Theta: The smart house on campus. I think you need like a 3.7 to get a bid.
Kappa Delta: used to be a smart house but they've lost that rep. The smarter of the bottom tier.
Kappa Kappa Gamma: rich and boring. Everyone forgets they exist.
Phi Mu: a bottom house. Really sweet genuine girls though.
Pi Beta Phi: The classy, beautiful girls on campus.
Sigma Kappa: Are the newest house on campus. Think they're better than the rest of bottom tier because they have an excuse...

Dearest Future Tigers,
Please don't believe any of these posts you see on this website. As a former Panhellenic Counselor (Pi Chi), I can assure you that these stereotypes are all biased and very inaccurate. Now that I am a senior, and have seen all sides of the recruitment process at Mizzou, I can tell you from experience that every single house is essentially the same. There is someone like you in EVERY SINGLE chapter, someone who you will become best friends with. With this being said, there are places where you will feel you fit better; where you feel more comfortable. So look for the chapter in which you would be proud to rock those letter all over campus, look for the chapter where you could chill out on a Wednesday night and eat an entire pizza, look for the chapter where you would feel comfortable crying to those women as they will be some of the most influential people of your college experience, look for the chapter where their philanthropy touches your heart and most of all understand that sorority life isn't for everyone and one of the main functions of formal recruitment is for you to decide if it is for you. Also, please please understand that there is a mutual selection process for a reason. Mutual selection means that you preference the chapters you liked best and they also preference you, and most of the time they know themselves better than you know them. So don't get overwhelmed and be yourself!

You can defientely tell which houses people are threatened of for recruitment this year.
Not one nice thing about AXO when usually everyone agrees they are nice, down to earth, and respected on campus.
Not one nice thing for Kappa who is ALWAYS competition for rush because of their appeal. They are also very well rounded, classy, and involved.
Not one nice thing about Adpi. Their house is popular for girls who like extra curriculars, very hardworking.
Is it that hard to say a couple nice things about ALL the houses? geez.

Did you notice that all those houses are ranked right above DG? Like another poster said, we know what house the OP is in! Trying to bash the competition before recruitment

DG's competition is mainly GPhi and APhi whose descriptions weren't overrrly mean. Maybe they just appreciate houses with similar characteristics.
