by: WonderingFrom what ive heard beta has a weak pledge class and suprisngly sig ep had a decent one. Sig chis signed a lot of kc guys to fill spots since there in so much trouble and cant have partys. I hear phikapp has a lot of good signs should be interesting.

From what I'm hearing, Beta and DU were very selective during Formal Rush because they're doing well and getting the guys they want through Informal. DU is having its pc live in the dorms again which indicates that they've had no problem filling its new house. I do know some guys who were wanting/expecting DU and/or Beta bids during Formal and didn't get any from either. That leaves them kinda uncertain as to what's their next move. I've also heard the rumors about Sig Ep and Phi Kap, but I don't know how accurate they are. Phi Kap definitely needs to come up with a better group than they've produced in recent years.

The same as usual is pretty much the case probably. Phi Kap and Sig Chi have a history of being in some trouble years past as has SAE, FiJi, ATO, AKL, etc., etc. so DU sure isn't alone. From what I've heard, the DU alumni requires pledges to live in the dorms which is common for fraternities in SEC schools and places like Oklahoma where there are big chapters and the universities have such requirements. Mizzou had planned for all freshmen men to live in dorms but that plan has been delayed.

This fits with what I was saying about Beta being highly selective. Beta has it over DU when it comes to grades; and DU has it over Beta when it comes to social life. Otherwise they're pretty well matched and can be selective.
