legacy question
by: HmmSo i'm a GPhi legacy. My big sister is an active in this chapter. I'm totally willing to join, but it's hard for me to completely disregard rumors. I hear they are really big party girls and I usually avoided that crowd in high school, never drank a sip of alcohol in my life, not even with family.... So do you guys think I will fit in, or is the image of GPhi on here really exaggerated?

Just go in with an open mind. Yes there are some rumors but there are rumors about every house! The only way YOU yourself will know if you fit in, is going through recruitment. We have never met you, therefore we can't sit here and say "Nope you definitely won't fit it!" There are people in every house that don't drink, and they are not going to force you to do something you aren't comfortable with! Don't let rumors and what people say on her persuade your opinion! Go in with an open mind, and you'll have an amazing rushing experience!

They are a great house full of great beautiful girls however the majority of them are hard parties and that's the typical culture in that house. Nothing wrong with that but If you don't drink like at all you might have a harder time fitting in a finding friends. Go through rush with an open mind. Houses like theta, AXO, ADPI, chi o might be more your style

Do not worry at all about the reputation of houses, especially if they are just things you've read on here. Although gphi is known as a more social house, (which usually implies drinking) there are many girls who don't go out regularly and don't drink. There are literally 300+ girls in this house, I assure you there is every type of girl in that mix and you will fit in just fine regardless of how often you want to go out!
