by: mizWhat are the top/mid tier houses and some good things about them? Don't care about the bottom tier that much (Zeta, SK, Phi Mu, Sigma)

I always laugh when people on this site say they aren't interested in bottom tier houses. Do they understand how competitive rush is? Even with sororities taking HUGE pledge classes, half of rush participants drop out because they can't get into the houses they want. And of those who stay in, some still are disappointed and don't get into any house. This August the word is that pledge classes will be smaller. So good luck being part of our Greek system if you don't give every house a chance.

Please go watch the Mizzou Bid Day 2015 video. EVERY SINGLE HOUSE at this school is amazing. EVERY SINGLE HOUSE at this school stands out in some way. And let me tell you-I am one of those 'party' houses that some on this board like to refer to, but my best friends, from my freshman year, in the dorms and through recruitment, are in other tiers-which mean NOTHING. seriously people, tiers mean absolutely nothing-your best friends will be in your house, and your 'other' best friends will be from the dorms your freshman year. these boards are ridiculous-tiers mean nothing once you are at this school. they only mean something for people who wanted to be here

Well said. The OP will definitely find herself outside of Greek Town with that kind of attitude. There are no bad houses at Mizzou.
