payment plan for dues

Not positive but I think most chapters are forced to bill semester dues at once which would mean you would pay for your in house/out of house fees such as meals, laundry, etc. at the beginning of the year and the only things you would pay for monthly would be like clothing, fines, etc. So it's not $2,000 at once, it's a lot smaller, and with optional/small payments due throughout the semester. A lot of sororities are willing to help women out who pay on their own or have trouble affording membership
